I feel like this summer has flown by and I cannot believe that my first day of school is August 31. I finished my internship last week, so I have found myself with a month of “summer”. Today, I wanted to share a few things that I am looking forward to for this month before school begins.
1) Sending Postcards
I don’t know about you, but I love writing handwritten notes and cards for my friends and family. I write my friends Valentine Day’s cards every year! There’s something special about receiving a physical card or letter.
This month I am planning on sending my out-of-state friends postcards. Receiving things in the mail is always a nice surprise. I was recently inspired by my friend from San Diego, who sent me a postcard himself! He will not be returning to campus in the fall and I’ve declared that we will now be pen pals and will continue to send each other postcards throughout the fall!

2) Creating Content
For the last couple of months, I haven’t been feeling very inspired to write any personal blog posts. To be quite honest, I had no ideas on what I should write about and I didn't have much time to write. But for whatever reason after my internship ended, I feel motivated to write more blog posts and to post more on my travel Instagram account @adventuringwithalexa!
3) Catching Up on TV
Now that I have some more downtime, I am excited to finally watch movies and TV shows that have been on my list for awhile.
I have a random assortment of TV shows and movies that I want to watch, some I've already seen and some are completely new.

Hulu: Amazing Race, Love Island U.K, Make it or Break It
