Where To Go For Photos in NYC

Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures and photo spots from all across NYC!

1) Times Square

I love the energy from Times Square and highly recommend you visit at both day and night! This picture was taken on the Red Stairs by my mom from the very first time that we visited.

2) Brooklyn Bridge

I visited the Brooklyn Bridge twice during my time in NYC! I went once with my family during the day and once with my best friend where we actually saw the sunrise at 5:30 AM.

3) Dumbo

Visiting Dumbo was something on my NYC bucket list! I went with my friend Julia, who had actually never been to Dumbo, but has been living in NYC for over a year now so she was happy to come check out Dumbo with me. We got ice cream at Oddfellows to end our Dumbo adventure. They offer really unique flavors and have 5 locations. I got a scoop of the Lemon Meringue Pie and Oatmeal Cookie Dough.

4) The Metropolitan Museum of Art

I feel like everything at the Met is worth taking pictures of! I really enjoyed taking pictures of the Greek/Roman exhibit.

5) Chinatown

My friend Steven and I got dumplings to snack on as we walked around Chinatown. The street with the chalk is called Doyers Street. At the very end of Doyers Street is Nom Wah Tea Parlor, a popular spot for dim sum!

6) Soho

I absolutely love Soho!!! It is such a cute area to walk around and go shopping. I went to this cute coffee shop called Cafe Belle with my friend Renee.

7) Friends Apartment

I love Friends (Monica is my favorite!) so I was super excited to take a picture of the apartment building exterior in Greenwich Village.

8) St. Patrick’s Cathedral

There's something to be said about visiting sacred spaces. They bring me such a sense of peace and I enjoy my time when I visit these spaces because it allows me to be in the moment and present.

9) Museum of Modern Art

I actually really love art museums. It's a nice way to kill time by walking around the different exhibits. I am definitely not one of those people that reads every description of each art piece, but rather I like to float from exhibit to exhibit. I was lucky enough to visit the MoMA the day before they closed for renovations in the summer. I also got this picture with Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night! I don't know why I was making that face but I think I was looking at the security guard.

10) Meatpacking District

The Meatpacking District is a super cute neighborhood to explore. You can check out Chelsea Market and walk the High Line!
