April was such an amazing month for me! In today’s post, I wanted to share 3 highlights from this month.
1) Chelsea Cutler Concert - April 5
I went to the Chelsea Cutler concert with my good friend Jess. The concert was on a Tuesday night.
I saw Chelsea when she came in September with Quinn XCII and Tai Verdes, but this was her first solo headliner tour in Indy.
I knew all the songs she sang and I kind of lost my voice by the end of the night but it was worth it!
2) 90s-themed prom - April 15
This was an event that I was looking forward to for the month of April. I was super excited for this event because 1) I wanted to dress up and 2) it was an open bar with light appetizers.
I went with a few of my friends who didn’t go home for Easter or Passover. We had a blast and it was a great way to end the week.
This event was held at the Indianapolis Artsgarden downtown. It's a super pretty venue!
3) Going to Chicago - April 21st - 24th
This mini weekend trip to Chicago was truly the highlight of April for me. I will have an entire Chicago weekend recap blog post soon!
Honestly, my heart was so full and I am so happy that I was able to come to Chicago and visit my brother and see a ton of college friends. I was even able to see Shannon and Catherine who were in town that weekend for the Lorde concert.
I also got to meet my friend, Calais, for the first time in person! We interned together virtually in summer of 2020.
I did a lot of things in Chicago that I wanted to do:
Chicago Cultural Center
Art Institute of Chicago
Harold Washington Library
Skydeck
Cubs game
I can't wait for the month of May because I have a lot of exciting things to look forward to that I will be sharing about soon!
