2020 has been a year, to say the least. It’s definitely not what I imagined my senior year of college to be like. But I am still grateful for all that I have been able to do. Today, I wanted to share some of my highlights from this fall.
1) Taking Advantage of the Warm Weather
I am so thankful that we've had a pretty mild fall so far. This has allowed me to take advantage of the weather and go on walks and do more things outside.
A place that my friends and I went to every weekend was Bill’s Beer Garden. We love the warm ambiance and overall vibe of Bill's. We felt safe going here because of how spaced out the tables were.
I've had the hot cider, mulled wine, and Moscow Mule but my favorite drink by far was the kombucha!
2) Trying New Things
Carving Pumpkins
I have never actually carved a pumpkin before and I got to finally carve one in early October with my good friend, Shannon! Mine is pictured on the right and I was inspired by the star eye emoji.
Honestly, the pumpkin-carving process was easier than I thought it was going to be. We also made pumpkin seeds afterwards!
Making Moscow Mules
With the same friend Shannon, we made our very own Moscow Mules! The recipe we used was fresh lime juice, 1 shot of vodka, ginger beer, and ice. And to top our mugs off, we added a lime slice.
3) Taking More Polaroid Pictures
This fall, I made it a point to bring my Fujifilm camera more with me to capture memories and to live more in the moment. If living in a pandemic has taught me anything, it’s to appreciate and cherish every moment.
I love taking pictures and taking pictures on my Fujifilm camera is no exception. I’ve had my camera since freshman year of high school!
